Only the 1961 squad, led by the legendary Merlin Olsen, started better, at 9-0-1.If the Aggies win at Colorado State, they will make school history as the only squad to win 10 of their first 11 games.The Aggies have already set school records with 66 touchdowns and 513 points.Utah State currently ranks in the top 10 nationally in 16 different statistical categories. They currently lead the nation in points per game (51.3), scoring drives under one minute (23), kickoff returns (29.83 yards per return), forced turnovers (26), defensive three-and-outs forced (6), and non-offensive touchdowns (8).The Aggies are also the only team in the nation to score 60 or more points on four occasions this season and no other team has more than two 60-point games on the season.After amassing a school-record 804 yards in a 62-24 win over San Jose State last Saturday, the Aggies are the only team in the nation to post 704 or more yards of offense in a game twice this season.The offense has also traveled well, which bodes well for this weekend’s game. On the road in conference play, the Aggies have won five of their last six games. In those contests, they have averaged 42 points and 456 yards of total offense.On their present nine-game winning streak, the Aggies have averaged 53.6 points and 536.8 yards per game and converted on 46.8 percent of their third down situations.Should the Aggies win Saturday, they would win 10 games in a season for only the third time in school history.Colorado State leads the all-time series 40-33-2.The Rams come into this game with a record of 3-7 and 2-4 in conference play. Colorado State will be honoring their 17 seniors on Senior Day and are seeking their first win against a ranked opponent since 2002, when they upset #7 Colorado 19-14.The Rams have played musical quarterbacks as both K.J.
